Pelagos is a Christian Spirituality, Training and Retreat Centre set in the
beautiful Chess Valley, nestled among the glorious Chiltern Hills in an
Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The Greek word, pelagos, means the open sea. A place where new horizons extend in every direction,
a place without boundaries, a place of peacefulness and calm changed only by the wind's breath upon
its surface. Under the surface Pelagos is teeming with hidden life waiting to be discovered and explored.
This deep water is also the place of miracles.
If you long to BE more, Pelagos invites you to hear the call of Jesus to 'put out into the deep', and
through our 4 key areas of retreat, nurture, teaching and outreach Pelagos offers you a place to
BE still, BE whole, BE equipped and BE friend.
